Paradise Package, Self-drive ($3,530 per couple) 7nights/8days

Day 01: Arrival at San Jose Costa Rica. Welcome to Costa Rica! Arrive at Juan Santamaria International Airport. After passing through immigration you will be met by one of our representatives who will take you to your destination and give you your welcome kit. (Depending on arrival time stay in San Jose, or begin journey to Tres Arroyos.)

Day 02: Self-drive to Villa Nueva/Los Tres Arroyos The peaceful Costa Rican lifestyle follows you to the private gated Cloud Forest estate of Los Tres Arroyos. From there you enter the best of both worlds…a luxury three story villa surrounded by 36 acres of lush rain forest yet 15 minutes from dozens of restaurants, small shops, and of course the beach! Your neighbors are Tucans, sloths, monkeys, iguanas, parrots, macaws and hundreds of other spectacular bird species. Have your camera ready for the Jaguarundi that lives at the bottom of the road, as well as the Coatimundi that lives in the backyard. There is nothing more beautiful than waking up with the birds, and setting the relaxing tone for your upcoming adventure. Enjoy a couples massage or individual massage at your leisure.

Day 03: White Water Rafting Walk or drive to the gate, and the tour bus will pick you up for your rafting adventure. Enjoy the tropical rivers, where both nature lovers and thrill seekers will get a high off of river rafting adventures. This half day tour will take you down the Naranjo River for class III and IV rapids, intended for more experienced paddlers. The Naranjo River drops steeply from the mountains above Quepos, through a beautiful jungle gorge and takes you on a wild ride to sea level, passing nearby farmlands and palm plantations.

Day 04: Self-drive Tour Villa Vanilla Spice Farm Just a mile from Los Tres Arroyos is the world famous Villa Vanilla Spice Farm. A Visit To the Villa Vanilla Rainforest Spice Farm Could Be One of Your Most Memorable Experiences in Costa Rica.  Villa Vanilla Spice Plantation is a good example of an all sustainable organic spice farm here in Costa Rica.  It is certified organic and biodynamic and one will find a variety of spices and essential oil plants, including vanilla, cocoa, and ceylon (true) cinnamon grown on the farm.  This outstanding tour explains the spices’ origins, their ancient history and their now traditional uses, as well as touch, smell and taste aromatic spices, medicinal and essential

Day 05: Guide to Manuel Antonio National Park We work with THE best guides in the industry. You will pick your guide up in the village and he will begin the history of the area, and guide you into the park. Manuel Antonio is made up of numerous trails, taking you through the rainforest and onto a number of pristine white sand beaches, only reachable through the park. The park is alive with tropical butterflies, birds, monkeys, snakes, iguanas, sloths, orchids and more. On this tour you’ll be able to learn about their life cycle and their special abilities and behaviors. For those that love nature and exploration, the walk within this park will be unforgettable.

Day 06: Self-drive and Free Day at Uvita Beach You will start your day with a 45 minute drive south to Playa Uvita. This amazing beach is too stunning for words. Called the “Whales Tale” because of it’s amazing resemblance, you will find tranquility here like none other. For those that like a less touristy feel…this is it. Going for a long leisurely walk along the beach is a beloved activity for all.  The waters are excellent for swimming, snorkeling and diving offshore.  At low tide make sure to visit Punta Uvita to the south of town, just be sure to consult with a tide chart so that you can make it back safely.   During the months of May to October, it may be possible to witness olive Ridley and Hawksbill sea turtles coming ashore to nest.  A great place to watch this occur is inside the protected area of Marino Ballena National Park, located just to the south.  It is even possible to watch majestic Humpback whales migrate through the waters just offshore between the months of December and April.   Playa Uvita is a great white sand beach, perfect for swimming and surfing.  Kayak tours are offered to check out the wealth of mangroves and estuaries surrounding Uvita.  There are many gorgeous waterfalls nearby, some of which have been described by tourists as being the best in the country.  Horseback riding, scuba diving, snorkeling and hiking finish off the list of favorite activities found here.

Day 07: Hike & Free day at Los Tres Arroyos At your leisure our caretaker will take you on a hike of our amazing property. By this point you have seen a lot of Costa Rica and it’s beaches, and the jungle where you are staying is truly amazing. A camera is a must on this journey.

Day 08: Self-drive to the International Airport Juan Santamaria in San Jose Drop off car at the Car Rental’s office just a few minutes away from the airport. Shuttle transfer to the airport by car rental company.
